Go deep into each element of the PERMA(H) model of wellbeing and reflect and experiment with practices that are designed to increase your wellbeing. Use the insights you have gained to expand your vision of your best possible self.

Bringing your vision to life: creating implementable goals
Set goals that actually work. Take your vision and turn it into real, implementable goals. Learn how to set high-level goals that align with your values and strengths and learn how to really integrate them into your busy lawyer life.

Creating habits to support your high level goals
Create a system that supports the transformation of your goals into reality. I'm Kathleen Brenner

I'm the lawyer.
Having worked for many years as a government lawyer at both the Commonwealth and state levels of government, since March 2022 I have worked part-time as Special Counsel for a new model law firm whilst I build my online course business and coaching practice.
Over the last several years, after discovering the transformational potential of coaching, I have immersed myself in all things coaching practice and learning, doing many HUNDREDS of hours of coaching and coach training, including positive-psychology, neuroscience and cognitive-behavioural informed approaches. I am currently enrolled in a Masters of Science in Coaching Psychology at the University of Sydney.
Having experienced the pandemic in Melbourne, I realised that the rigid structure of pre-pandemic life wasn't necessary, and I could design a life that enabled me to better thrive. Since then, I have made significant changes to my own life - and my practice as a lawyer.
I have partnered with Carla to create this course because I am passionate about sharing what I have learnt with the broader legal profession.

I’m not a lawyer, but I bring ten years of experience as a professional coach, partnering with senior executives, managers, and individual contributors—including lawyers—in both the private sector and government agencies. This includes working with large corporations such as global tech companies and S&P 500 companies, as well as federal organisations. My coaching focuses on enhancing well-being, achieving peak performance, and driving transformative growth.
Before transitioning into coaching, I built a career in Business Development within the energy sector, living and working across Brazil, United States, Singapore and Australia. This global corporate background provides me with a deep understanding of corporate and professional life, which I leverage to inspire and facilitate meaningful change for my clients. My coaching approach is rooted in evidence-based methodologies and a strong commitment to fostering both personal and organisational success.
I help clients thrive in their careers and personal lives by focusing on well-being and resilience. In today’s fast-paced world, I work with clients to develop a resilient mindset, enabling them to navigate challenges strategically and proactively. True peak performance requires thriving, not just surviving, and I partner with my clients to create a clear vision of their best selves and take concrete action toward achieving that vision.
I emphasise the importance of self-care, guiding clients to establish sustainable habits and routines that support both physical and mental well-being. Sustained high performance starts with taking care of yourself.
